Irene and Elspeth work in the same French Quarter restaurant. Irene's known for being terse and kind of an asshole, but Eleanor makes her laugh and can actually do her job correctly, so Irene has a soft spot for her. She's always down for a drink after closing or to put together a meal to go for Elspeth.
