Understandable. I don't know if I could ever have a cat; most cats don't seem to like that I am the chaotic weirdo of the house and they cannot compete. Stray and outdoor cats super love mellow happy drunk me, though, and also hungover me. I once woke up with a strange cat sleeping on my head. We had a moment of just..."same" and then I passed out again and when I woke up for real it was gone.
